Thank you for your interest in the babble. talk. read. initiative! It’s our hope that together we can reach thousands of parents with an important message: helping children get ready to read can be easy and fun.
We’ve assembled the resources on this page to make it easier for you to help spread the word. Please reach out to Doug Graham at Greenbush if you have questions or would like to suggest additional resources.
Resources for Everyone
This printable flyer gives a quick overview of the program, encourages people to follow BTR on social media, and instructs them to download the smartphone app. Alternatively, send it out via email and recipients can click the icons to navigate to the social media feeds and app store pages.
People are more likely to see shared posts on social media if you type in some of your own text. We’ve compiled some messages you can copy, paste, and (if desired) personalize to help you reach more of your friends, family, and colleagues when you share content from BTR.
Resources for LiNK School Districts
The resources below are primarily for use by the 16 school districts participating in the Greenbush LiNK projects that provided the funding for babble. talk. read. Those districts are as follows:
288 Central Heights
366 Woodson-Yates Center
415 Hiawatha Schools
430 South Brown County/Horton
434 Santa Fe Trail
506 Labette County
We have the ability to send out district-specific messages to users of the BTR smartphone app. If your district is planning an event related to literacy or otherwise of interest to caregivers of children from birth to age six, please fill out this form so we can push the info out to those in your district who have installed the app.
At the link above, you’ll find a sample email you can customize to notify caregivers in your district about the BTR program.
If your district uses Remind or a similar text messaging system, click the link above to find some sample messages you can send out to encourage caregivers to follow the BTR social media accounts and download the BTR app.
